Just wondering your thoughts on repair & replacement of trunk floors. I'm working on a 71 Monte. The trunk pan is in really bad shape so I was thinking of using the "7 piece" kit from Goodmark. I don't really need the braces but thought it might be easier to remove the old pan with the braces and all that way I don't have to drill out every spot weld that holds the pan to the braces.

What problems have you encountered doing this?

Depends how bad your trunk is they make 1 piece pans that cover most of the flat areas but the 7 piece pans are relly good for covering up rusted out areas. If your going to do all the work of replacing pans you might as well put in new braces / gas tank braces just my .02 cents
