Anybody know the best way to clean the firewall? I've been using a drill with a wire brush to get the frame down to bare metal, but I'm not sure if I should do that to the firewall too. Any input would be greatly appreciated.-james

Detailing firewall and engine compartment.
By the way, we sandblasted our firewall, then shot it with POR-15 Silver before installing the Aluminum Firewall.
Hope this helps.

Last week I tried 3M's paint and rust removal discs in an electric drill, and WOW, they work awesome!! They strip rust and paint fast, and leave a nice surface, not polished up like a wire wheel. You should be able to find them at your local auto supply... Good luck
