Guys - My horn never worked so I just replaced my horn relay. It is very warm, bordering on hot, to the touch - Is this ok?

Also will the horn want to blow if the steering wheel is off?

On the relay I have the green horn wires in the rear position (closer to the power bus) black horn ground is in the front (closer to the radiator support) position.

Thanks in advance.

Disconect it NOW ...... sounds like you have two problems.... #1 the horns don't work ... #2 the ground wire going to steering wheel is grounded all the time making the points close in the horn relay & with the horns not working its getting HOT ....

Thank's 68KMENO - I did leave the battery disconnected. The horns do work, I tested them seperately. I'll try the column wires tomorrow.
