I'm going to remove the rear window in the camino to try and fix a persistant leak. While at it I thought about putting a slider back in to provide a little ventilation. Anyone point me in the right direction for a decent window?
thanks

Forget the slider!!
The tilt on the back glass of an Elky is too much for any sliding rear glass.

Not so fast there Big James! I saw a couple of Caminos that had a slider in them that didn't look that bad. I had the number of the places that sold them but that was a long time back. They were made in California so maybe a member out there knows who has them.

hey big james, you mean the angle of the rear glass will not let water drain properly or that a slider won't physically fit?
How about a sun roof? I'd like to get some ventilation going sometimes. Any luck putting in a sun roof that won't leak?? Any brands better than others?
thanks again

I don't have a problem with the looks or the practicallity of it but the ones I saw leaked big time!
As for a sun roof it's your car do it if you want!
But not me! I spent to much time and effort putting mine in decent shape to go and cut a hole in the roof. Besides my AC works great!

A lot of trucks and station wagons have a problem with exhaust recirculating back into the passenger compartment.
As much as we all like our piston engines, carbon monoxide still equals bad news.

I just took my slider out to get the car painted. It doesn't appear to be correct for the car, but it's okay. I never open it up, so I'd rather have the single piece...
