Hey fellow enthusiasts! A while back I recall reading a post that mentioned
ID numbers stamped in the quarter panel/trunk opening area.(1966 SS in this case) Can anyone tell me what they are supposed to read?Out of curiosity,I
located said stampings on my '66 SS over the weekend but they are stamped so poorly(or possibly loaded with paint)that I can't determine what they read.
Educated guess on drivers side..."6613817"....???<<< yes?no?
No clue as to what the passenger side reads....but if it's supposed to be the last six digits of the VIN...it sure ain't the same as on the VIN tag.
Thoughts?????
