I primed my engine w/ the intake off just to see how the red zones would oil.
The only thing they did was kept a steady flow of oil over the rollers.
This was done w/ a low rpm hand drill.
I expected a full hi pressure spray of oil to be coming from the lifters but discounted this after taking into consideration my hand drills low rpm.
Anything I should be concerened with?

What did your oil pressure gauge read at the time?

Hi Mitch,
This is exactly what you should see.
They have another oil circuit that you cannot see. It oils the needles when the engine is running.
Just for info, the ones I sell have less oil coming out of the circuit you are seeing as I have them modified for street use.
Still have the same amount at the needles though,,

Never did hook up a gauge. Is it a good idea to when your just priming it?

Something's got to plug up the hole, might as well plug it with a gauge.

Right above the oil filter.
