Hey where did you order your hood from again. My carb is sticking up past the damn fender wells there is no way the stockers going back on.....Well, unless I cut a hole in it. Could you link me to a website? I hear the one you have is an easy fit. I really didn't want to go 4" but it isn't looking good for anything shorter.

Glasstek out of the Chicago area. Phone is 630-978-9897. Someone else here said they also bought one from Glasstek with a 2" rise (for a 66 or 67) but it cost a few bucks more - sorry, don't remember who or the exact amount.

They don't have a website that I know of yet. If you do a Google search, it'll turn up http://shop.store.yahoo.com/gofast/glasstek1.html with what looks to be a toll-free number of 1-888-646-3278. I don't know if that's a number for Glasstek or for a retailer/wholesaler. They have NO Chevelle hoods listed there, but they say to call if your application isn't listed.

Thanks Dale, I'm probably gonna get the 4" because that damn carb is way up there. I don't know if you can tell, but if you look at the link I posted in the Performance section you'll see what I'm talking about.
