I need to replace the wheel wells on my 70,
I am only replacing part of the quater. I would like to leave the factory body line and weld in the new panel just below it. But I was just wondering if I am going to have any difficulty replacing the wheel wells
without the more of the quater out of the way.
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

it's not an easy job to begin with, but it isn't too difficult. you may have a problem with getting them in and out with most of the quarter on. If you check the links in my signature you will see all the area left with the inner and outer out of the car. if you are going that far why not just replace the entire panel? wish I had more info for you but I did mine with the entire panel removed.. Good Luck
