I am looking at re covering some bench seat and the bottom cushion foam has minor damage in a couple places. How hard is it to repair these little divots? I was thinking about getting some foam out of another car seat and gluing it in , them trimming it to be level with the rest of the foam. Has anyone tried this?

As long as your foam hasn't turned powdery, you should be ok to glue in new pieces and re-shape them. Foam works and so does the old cotton type padding.
