I have already replaced the passenger side with a full panel from goodmark and had no problems at all. I am only doing the skiny panel (20" x 75") on the driver side. I tried lining up the panel on the car and it doesn't fit like the other side. The body line of the car matches prety well but doesnt come close to lining up with wheel well, or where the panel is welded to the inner trunk side filler panel behind the wheel well. If I push the panel up at the back to match up the wheel well lip the body line is off and the trunk filler still does not line up. I also noticed that the wheel well lip is alot wider than the fullsize Goodmark one.
I purchased the panel from a local suplier but the panel was manufactured in Taiwan. Has any one ever had problems with these smaller panels, or by chance did I get a defective panel. Are any of the non-fulsize panels produced in north america or do they all come from overseas. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Might as well do it with another full Goodmark. I'll bet the patch panel is as good as it gets not a defective panel. If you are to this point you won't be sorry going with another full 1/4 when all is said and done!

I agree. Those taiwan "1/2 skins" suck. the one you got is just like all of them... it'll never be right, and you need 14 gallons of bondo to cover the seam even if you DO get it on... Buck up and buy the full quarter for that side too... you wont be sorry.
