Well since I replaced the skin and the fender Ive been fighting for perfection! The main thing was the gap between the 2. Tighten up one side, the other side sags out, fix this... the bottom sticks out. Anyways,It looks so much better now, im almost there. The final touches are killing me on the passenger side. Heres my main problem:
The inner workings of this door are seriously from hell. Ive taken appart the handle mechanism and took out the return spring (have shaved door handles) Put it back together and it still barely opens, I pull on the latch and wire manually and the door opens partially, takes about 5 trys to get it to open, I think the latch inside the door needs to be taken appart and completely off, cleaned and greesed up, adjust, put back on.... graemlins/angry.gif Im not sure. My driver side door opens perfectly. I go to the other side and its like a different car! I just need tips here, or maybe i am missing something. This work is all being done manually, meaning not messing with the solenoids, it has nothing to do with it at this point.
