I just picked up my 69SS two weeks ago. Found this forum on Team Chevelle.
Nice to know all the information that is here,Car is Black with 70 SS stripes.
Planning on having Black Vinyl top put on in July. She is a 396 350HP with 400 trans. I am 61 but still enjoy the rumble of a big block. Had a 55 Chev that sold to get the Chevelle.
Look forward to hopefully helping others and asking for help too when needed.
