95K and hasn't hit reserve? private i.d., poor pictures, and yet people have thrown almost 100k at this ride? i'm a little hesitant, but i think i smell a shill.

Did Z's come with the mono leaf springs?

And you'd think for that kind of money they'd at least throw a reporduction battery in the thing.

I thought the Z came with multi leaf and spoiler.

I had a friend in High School and he had a 68 Z and I had a 68, mine was a mono leaf, his was multi, mine had no spoiler, his did.

This is a rip.

Look at the rear axel tubes.
Obviously sand blasted and repainted.
You can see the pits that were left after blasting.

That is NOT original.
That is restored to near original condition.

If some dufus is dumb enough to spring 100k on it
then good for him.

I wonder why they don't want to be bothered with answering questions about numbers or date codes? I would think that numbers and codes are the most important questions to be answered for this amount of money.

I'll bet the 1st Gen Camaro forum is all over this one.

Dan

EDIT: Oops - just read over at www.camaros.org (http://www.camaros.org) that all 67's got the mono leaf springs.

I don't know ... so what's the opinion, is a '67Z a $100k car? I know it's far rarer, but is it worth more than a comparable '69Z?

Oh well ... '68s are my favorite year. Nice looking car, but I have to agree the photo of the rear-end ... definitely shows something. Either those are rust-craters or sandblasting, but that has definitely been repainted.

Documentation is far more than I could ever dream on my car!! Appear original, didn't it?

Oh well, don't see anything to knock the car for ... description seems pretty honest. Statement that they will guarantee ALL numbers match is probably more bold than the seller could imagine. There are TONS of items on a car (beyond the engine/tranny) that the original parts suppliers put date stamps on!

Hey, if nothing else ... they can probably re-coup 1/2 their investment with that air cleaner. If I was selling, that thing would have been going on it's own auction!

Nice car to look at this evening though, thanks for bringing it up.

i'm not real knowledgable in this area, i justy thought it was a fairly amatuer add, and that the if the people throwing this $ around might be local, then maybe, they have seen the car up close, but even if i had that kind of $, i sure wouldn't throw it at a car with such an odd looking add.

the car may be worth twice the price, i wouldn't know, but after watching e-bay recently, and seeing many cars not meet reserve (which this one has yet to do) and it being a private i.d. add (which always suspect), i was hoping somebody would jump in and give us an education.

are these rides really bringing that type of $? were the stripes correct, paint correct? car looked a little used to be bringing top $. i've seen these bring 50k all day, just wondered why this one was twice what i've seen.

what do our camaro brethren think?

i sometimes put these adds up, when i think they are suspect, so i can get feed back from educated people. i'd hate to come across something like this at a good price, and not know what to look for. or knowit was worth far more than the asking price etc.....

I think there were only like 600 67 Z/28's produced. But i could be wrong.

Let me say this!

I took my window sticker off with a razerblade scraper the night I took possession of it and it was stuck all over so was shredded!!

I don't think any of the '67's came stock with spoilers?

And yes, I think it should be a mono-leaf car!

I love "numbers matching"!

I'd just ask, "Is the motor, tranny and drive-train originally what was installed in the car when it came from the factory?"..

Screw a bunch of "numbers matching", imho!!

I don't get it ... what's a '70 Velle have to do with a '67Z?

Anyhow ... $125k is too much for the Velle. I believe (though times change fast), you'd be looking at an L89 Conv or LS6 Conv for that price.
