I have a 69 SS396 Chevelle. The #'s on the block say its a 325hp w/ a 4-speed. But none of the #'s match the vin #. Also is it true that a 325 hp has a s 5/16 fuel line, 350hp has a 3/8 and return line, and 375hp have a single 3/8 fuel line? Mine has a 3/8 and a return. Does this mean its a 350HP? Probably not original engine? Thanks.

My '69 SS 325HP has a 3/8" fuel line with a return. I believe that this "correct".

Big Yellow, If the last 6 digits of the car's VIN are not stamped on the block, it is not the orginal engine. It could be a service replacement....
