I removed 6 rubber grommets from my 69 Malibu convertible at the start of my resto project 18 months ago. I cannot figure out where they go. 4 are 1.035 Dia, and 2 are.800 Dia. 2 of them fit under the back seat but I am not sure where the rest go. There are 2 holes in the trunk, one on either side but the holes seem to be too small.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Two go under the back seat and 2 go in the trunk. Not sure where the other two go. I don't recall any more on my hardtop. Possibly a vert has two more holes that my HT doesn't.

There's also 2 in the firewall.
