I was wondering if any body has any suggestions for me?? I had my 383 redone last spring and now it blows blue smoke, only sometimes ,at start up. It seems to have the classic symptoms of valve guide or seal problems, but why would this only be once in awhile,,,usally when a crowd is behind my car. Sometimes the exhaust is fine with only a very slight sign of being overrich and sometimes the blue smoke is really bad.
BTW the heads are new AFR 210's,and I am using baffled grommets and there is no sign of any oil in them......any help would be great..

Wish I had a better suggestion but ... you may want to do a compression or leakdown test. If that checks out post back and maybe one of the experts will chime in. Good luck.
