Dose anyone know where I can find blueprints or instructions to build a body rotisserie? I am doing a body off on my `69 and have seen some cool body rotators, I would like to build my own and could use some instruction from someone who may be in the know.
Thanks Bob

Bob. I have 3 links for you. The first is one built from scratch by Michael Pell, the second is a kit built bij Corey and the third is my own, built by myself once I had seen Michael's rotisserie.

I have a question. When the body is on the rotiserie and level does it want to try and fall to one side or the other or can you just turn it by hand??

I built my own rotator. There are pictures and the plans on my website. I needed two hands to turn the body. On mine the car would stay in place for the most part, it was fairly well balanced. Another person to help turn the lock down bolts really adds to the safety. I also added two bars that went from the rotator arm to the floor when the car was at 90 degrees for additional safety.

Yes, the body will more than likely want to tip. That's why they usually have a bolt to bind the pivot up.
Mine is pictured on my web site. It IS the way to go!
Mine was built by Custom Performance who also has one with hydraulic lifters on each end. I have a link on my site.
