64 chevelle. Wiring harness seems to only have 1 wire to run to the radio. The car has no speaker in it. The radio appears to have a 3 prong connector on it. How does it wire? Is it two seperate plugs, one for the hot and two for the speakers. Need a little help!! Ron

Ron, I had the same question on a 67. In fact I posted it just last week. Tonight I searched the archives and found this I will paste it here for you. Hope it helps
This radio is all transistor - no tubes. The cans you see are IF transformers.
The wiring for the radio is as follows:
Starting from the left side of the radio,
+12 volt power
8 to 10 ohm speaker (+)
Ground/radio chassis - speaker (-)
This is standard on all GM Delco radios that use this plug except Corvette!
The mating 3 prong plug is usually wired to the speaker and a single GM female connector that supplies 12 volts from the fuse panel plugs in on top of the 3 pin speaker plug.
good luck dan w
