I was reading through my new Car Caft, and noticed in the article for qtr panel replacement, the guy is stated using a .025 guage flux core wire. The smallest I can find is .035. Anyone know where I can get some of that stuff? Even though my welder is a flux core only, it does pretty good with a gentle tough. It is too hot though. Maybe my welder won't handle that small of wire, not sure. The welder in that shop is probably using a MIG with the flux core wire instead?

I can't remember for sure what diam it was but I know I found some that was smaller then .035"
that I used when welding my patch panels. I think you can at least get .030" flux core
I did a search and found this place has .030

I've never seen flux cored wire under 0.030". The 0.030" flux core wire is usually fairly easy to find though.

it will definetly make it easier if you you use the smaller wire.
