I think thats what they're called.
I cant fully close my wing window in my 71 Elky because the control unit gears are totally worn out.

Does anybody manufacture replacement parts?

I don't know of anyone, biut I had to replace mine and got the thing out of a four door parts car. It's still a little loose though, I'd be curious to see other replies to this.
