hi, im installing a repro staple shifter in my 70 chevelle. the car was originaly a 4 speed car. i replaced the center piece of floorpan (with the proper peice). i went to install the shifter and dont know where exactly it should mount? does anyone have any measurements as to where this shifter is placed? thanks.
