Removing old sealer on firewall seams. What do I put back and where do I get it.

3M makes some great seam sealer that can be brushed or smoothed out with alittle water.Area has to be sanded first,no bare metal.Can also be painted over without prep after it drys

Some seam sealers are so heavy bodied that you can barely get it out of the tube. I use 3M Ultrapro 08300.

Here is 3M Fast and Firm.If you get it warm it works out of the tube alittle e-z-er
