Hey Folks,

I am rewiring my 65 Elky with a painless kit. But I forgot how my headlights work. I have the standard four sealed beam units in the grill.

My question is this: Which of the lights are on when the low beams are on? Which of the lights are on when the high beams are on?

I forgot to check this before I stripped out all the old wires ;)

Since I rarely look at the car from the front when the lights are on, I can't remember!

Can someone with a four light set-up go out to their garage and turn their lights on for me? ;)

Thanks,

Jameel

Only the outer headlights are on with the low beams on, all the lights are on with the high beams on. The outer headlights have both low and high beam filiments, and have 3 terminals on the bulbs. The inter headlights only have a high filiment and only have 2 terminals on the bulbs.
