If you follow the links they will take you to my engines specs. I am a supporter of a "502" for street use as it is more than enough grunt for the street. Check out Sallee Chevrolet for a custom "crate" engine. They were easy to work with and made a ton of changes to their ultimate "502" and charged no extra. I changes the heads, carb, rods, pistons and cam!

redrum, that's awesome. i actually have the picture of your car on my desktop. hope you don't mind. i use it for inspiration. i have a '70, but yours is almost exactly how i want mine to end up looking. whenever i get discouraged thinking about how far i still have left to go, i look and see what it can end up looking like, and it's all worth it.

and i'd have to agree with you about checking out Sallee Chevrolet in Milton-Freewater, OR. I've bought several things from them, and my buddy has bought a ton of stuff for his 383 that he built. no problems from them at all. great guys to work with. Tom Sallee actually helps out at the local racetrack here in Walla Walla. So he definitely is into the racing engines or just a nice big street engine.
