When I bought my '66 the high beam switch was in the trunk with the other "spare" parts. Can someone tell me what wire goes to which post?
There is a top post and two lower posts. There are three wires hanging where the switch SHOULD be mounted... two of the wires (one lt blue the other lt brown) are connected together, the third (lt green) is not connected at to anything.
Thanks!

The lt blue wire is the dimmer switch power that should come from the headlight switch and be connected to the top post on the dimmer switch plug.
The lt brown wire should be the low beam circuit and the lt green wire the high beam circuit. Connect the lt brown wire to one of the lower posts on the dimmer switch plug and the lt green to the other lower post. You would also need a wire from the high beam circuit connected to the high beam indicator light on the dash panel.

Thanks Don!
I'm going to hook it up right now. :)
Now all that's left is to find out why the wiper motor doesn't wipe and the dash lights don't light.
Thanks again!!!

Well that was easy! :)
The headlights both work the way they are supposed to on the drivers side.
The passenger side low beam works fine but when the high beam switch is pushed the low beam gets dim and I get no high beam on that side.
I'm thinking bad ground on the passenger side. Does that sound probable?
I was thinking of switching the pass. low beam connector to the high beam bulb tomorrow and see if its a bulb or ???

Most likely the ground wire for the headlights. Make sure it is clean, tight, use a star washer on the bolt or screw, and make sure you have the small ground wire from the battery to the fender.

You mean the small frayed broken wire? :(
Well, one good thing about being unable to buy more cool new parts for a while, it is forcing me to look at the little things that aren't nearly as much fun, but just as necessary to having a reliable and dependable car to play with.
Thanks again for your help!!
