I bought a SS dash harness off ebay that I thought was for a 70 Chevelle. The guy had it listed as a 71. After searching for something else I realized it was from a 72. The tach wire goes into the bulkhead connector and the wiper switch has 4 wires.
What is the easiest way to find what year the engine harness is from? I might get lucky as the previous owner used alot of 72 parts when he cloned the car. I noticed that the engine harness does not have a wire for the tach but based on some websites that location should have a wire for the Ammeter.
Sorry but I would hate to find out that the car has no power and won't start. The dash is still out of the car so swapping it out should be relatively easy at this point.
Edit - I just took a closer look. I think the brake light switch wire is orange not tan. Nevermind it looks tan.
