Beautiful Car. My 71 SS has 19,800 orignal documented miles when I bought it 3 years ago. It's got 24,000 on it now. If you click on the pair of 71 links in my signature, you'll see it next to an El Camino that I bought from the orignal owner that had only 39,000 miles on it. That was even more orignal than my 71. The only thing that had been changes were the tires due to dry rot. Still had the orignal spark plugs. I regret selling that car. You're gonna love this site!!!

What a beautiful find!
I noticed that car does not have a passenger side mirror, would anyone know if a 71 had passenger side mirrors or would it depend on options?

I have a friend here who bought a 72 with 16K about 3 years ago from the original owner here in town.
I think it has around 23K now.

I think it depended on options. Mine doesn't have it.
