: How can you identify a chevelle bb oil pan ph71ss Jun 9th, 06, 10:54 PM I am trying to find out how to tell if the oil pan on my motor is a chevelle oil pan I'm having clearance issues on the crossframe in my 68 El Camino. Thanks Pat Chevy 70 SS vert Jun 10th, 06, 12:31 AM I had the same problem with mine. So I posted these photo's and found it would fit as it had the correct curves to get around the cross member.
