Can anyone tell me which wire under the hood is the wire for the tachometer on a '72 Chevelle SS? I put an HEI distributor in it and I'm not sure which one goes to the "TACH" side of the cap. My '70 has a brown wire coming through the firewall for the tach but I know the '72's had a different harness. Can anyone help? Thanks.

If it's a true SS it will be attached to a resistor about the size of a distributor condensor and bolted the the firewall right behind the dist.
