HI guys,
i need a little help, on my 1966 vette,
it had a pertronix ignition installed when i bought it.
i want to add mimi starter.
i do not have a ballast resister but i do have both r and s wires on my gm starter.
there is a 12 volt wire going to pertronix, also from this same wire, there is a wire spliced to it that goes to a 12 volt accel coil.
this wire is attached on the + side of coil, there is also another wire on the + side of coil that goes to the r side of my starter.
does this mean i am getting 12 volts to my pertronix plus my coil and that i can eliminate the r wire from the starter? or do i have to add a gm r terminal diode kit.
