Don't know if this is the right place for this post but here goes.----HELP!!

Bought a LH mirror for my 70 chevelle at the dealer. Part # is GM 3914753.
Looks almost identical to my original but the way it is supposed to catch on the front lip of the bracket to help hold it on doesn't fit. Anybody know where I can find a bracket that fits these mirrors?? Surfing the internet it looks like G.M. went to these mirrors as replacement for various models of G.M. cars. There has to be brackets for these mirrors out there somewhere?? Anybody else had this problem???

Forgot to post this--I did call Year One and the tech service looked up their part number and it was the same GM # that I had got from the dealer. Brackets for them have been discontinued but they sell a repop that works just fine, only had to drill one hole. The part number for the right side is GM #
3914754. Maybe this will help someone else down the road. By the way, Year One had the bracket listed for a 69 only.
