: El Camino Access Panel
Grover Jul 8th, 03, 10:49 PM I'm going to hinge the panel on the bed of my 65 El Camino, the one in the floor under the rear window. Can anyone that has done this give me some do's and don'ts. I just want to use the compartment for storage for small items we take to cruises.
Thanks,
Mark aka Grover

Grover Jul 8th, 03, 11:56 PM That was my thought also. Also some 1/4 turn bolts to provide easy access.

Mark I think a piano hinge and a gas strut for hatch backs etc...would be pretty shnazzy in my book graemlins/thumbsup.gif
I saw a couple of real cool ones at Bristol Bash this year
I think the square tubing frame work looks like the way to go

Rick I sure can Rick but you can also go to;
and click on them, then right click and save them to your hard drive (http://macc.Chevelles.net/bristol/bristrip.html)
You can usually save any picture from the net by right clicking unless the page has java script to bring up a message with the right mouse key, then you have to do it different to get around the script
