sk1 Oct 26th, 02, 10:44 AM My car is a 71 SS 454 convertible. The color has been changed and there are no band-aid stripes. Did all SS cars come with the stripes or were they optional? I can't figure out where it is indicated on my build sheet if at all. BK72SS Oct 29th, 02, 4:16 AM From what I've heared all 70-72 chevlle's that were ordered with cowl induction hood's came standard with the stripes or they could be deleted. I'm not sure about non cowl induction hood chevelles having the stripes standard or having to request them when the car was ordered. My 72 chevelle ss was sequoia green with no stripes when it was new. The build sheet option window #107 doesn't list trim or stripes. There is a window # 106 on the build sheet Which reads: "TRIM CLR BLACK----" My car was originally Azure Blue. Could this be the band-aid stripes? Anybody know somebody who worked at Van Nuys in 70-71? | ||
