hi all, can anyone tell me how to install, and what to use to hold the upper firewall insulation in place on my 67 el camino? i'm not talking about the insulation behind the heater core, but rather the two smaller pieces ( about 5x18 inches each) that go above that. i bought the insulation from opg, but i don't know if the rubber backing goes against the firewall or vice versa. is this glued in with weather strip adheasive? thanks for any help!

mine originally was glued on but there wasnt enought there to tell if the jute or the vinyl went on the firewall/cowl side. I think its the same way as the firewall pad, vinyl is inside the cab and the jute is glued to the firewall/cowl.

thanks danny, i think you are right. all that was left of mine was a little bit of fiberglass type material. i guess i'll try glueing the jute side to the firewall. thanks
