Has anybody had the experience of replacing the bedsides on a 66 el camino? I need to replace both, have already got 1 full side, a goodmark repop. I noticed while underneath it today there is an inner panel as well. Know where to get them, or what have you used as a replacement? Looks like the wheel tubs from a chevelle will replace the ones in the bed (goodmark say one side needs to be modified to work, anybody know why? fuel tank maybe?). Also need to replace the rear mounts, towers looked to be rotted off. If anyone has pics of there resto, I'd love to seee them! Thanks. graemlins/beers.gif

" inner Panel " ???
Ary you referring to the rear 1/4 filler panel ?
From the bed box to the bottom of the 1/4 behind the rear wheel opening ?
If that is what your referring to.. No,, no one makes a replacement panel it's a roll your own deal there.
As for the wheel well housings...
Yes they must be modified.. the gas filler box area is different.
IMO I would cut out the spots and remove the old 1/4 panel ,leving the wheel well intact as full as posible.. Then with the 1/4 off... Work with the replacement outer well.. fitting the lip then fabing welding around the top rear gas tank filler area ..
