I made no changes to the car since last week, check and adjust tire pressure on the trailer, d/a 2700-3300ft, track temp started at 143*..

4:56--.507-1.439--6.76 @ 99.98--8.89 @ 113.18-off trailer
5:42--.518-1.447--6.79 @ 99.32--8.94 @ 112.78
6:33--.559-1.455--6.80 @ 99.58--8.95 @ 112.70--last time run

dial 8.91 since its cooling off quick and more cooling off time:

7:45--.504-1.444--6.75 @ 100.20-8.95 @ 103.26-treed opponent,best reaction, get bye run
8:33--.575-1.599--6.96 @ 99.96--9.09 @ 113.29-bad burnout,wasted bye
9:08--.616-1.437--6.72 @ 100.58-8.85 @ 113.81-fell asleep, loaded up

Got sideways in second gear on bye run burnout, so didnt get the tires warm enough, had it not been a bye run I would have backed up and did it again. I sure like these tires, again all 60's within .018 except for the bye run. Going to run the valves this week, will see some of you in Tenn.

Bob,

It looks like you are getting more and more consistent with the car. Congrats! With the lovely warm weather you just might have that thing in the 10.30's this fall. I bet there are another couple of tenths with some more lift and duration on the cam and a few RPM to go with them. ;)

You've talked me into the 30x10.5 Hoosier Radial slick. It looks like I can squeeze them in as well. I hope to try them out in a month or so when we get some REALLY hot weather.

Some say the radial slicks are marginal on a hot track. You can't prove that by me, alot of the other guys are complaining about the starting line and mine keeps on hooking. Just a little more concentration on the tree and I'll start moving up towards the top 5 :D
