Has anyone used CHROME RITE PLATING in Fayetteville, N.C for either there pot metal or steel?, if so what quality was it. I was given a estimate to rechrome the pot metal door post of my 68 Chevelle that is almost $100 per post cheaper than Tri-city, Pauls, Advanced plating.

I am going to get my potmetal stuff powder coated. They have this "color" Called "Near Chrome" that looks just like chrome. I bet the poweder coating is about half the price of actually chroming anything, or less!

Quotes from the sites below.
H.B. Fuller makes Reflectra.

If you’re looking for something different, we are now applying Reflectra, a chrome look-alike powder coating! Reflectra is not as reflective as real chrome, however, it is still very bright. The look is similar to satin polished aluminum.

First are you sure it's "pot metal" and not steel?
Second I wish someone would answer his original question as I would also like to know if these guys do a god job? :D
