have a new snap on meter eedm501b .How do you check dash bulbs out of the car with it. I just want to see if the bulb is good.Also if you want to check wire from one place to another Do you have to get one lead at each end of the line to see if the hole line is not broke Thank You in advance

The tests you sre trying to do is just a simple continuity test. Set the meter on the ohms scale. Ω Do not test on a live circuit while on the ohms scale.
