Ok, was thinking about glassbumpers - smoothing them down with primer and filler, spraying them with a "Chrome" paint, then Clear coating them to a nice shine.
Any clue if this will work - or any better suggestions?
Thanks

No such thing as chrome paint, but a good painter and airbrush work for shadows can make a convincing fake. Silver painted bumpers are silver painted bumpers http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

I thought about having a place chrome them using that "Vacuum metalized" method like dash chrome.
It would probably be too expensive (if they could even do it), and it isn't too durable either...

I know its not gonna look real, i just dont want them to fool people from a distance and look a bit like metal with chrome-like color paint (i know this exists, its nothing fancy).

I had heard that trying to spray clear over the Metallic Chrome paint screws it up so you may want to go another route.
