Well, I'm finally gonna break down and get my own pressure washer. I just need a good household unit, preferably gas, and around 2000+ psi. All I really need is something that will clean the siding on the house, driveway duty, gutter cleaning, and other light duty jobs. Right now all I have is a small electric washer we got from walmart a few years when we lived in a townhouse and it simply doesn't cut it.
Any recommendations?? which brand?? PSI??
Thanks in advance!

I picked one up at Lowe's, 2200psi troybuilt gas engine for $279 plus tax.
It works good for me, I've used it to clean the wife's car, my truck the tractor and even the house. I've leaned not to use the power tip close to the paint!

ditto on the lowes troy-bilt... I have a 2400 psi setup that has worked great for me.

Yep, I am considering either a Troy Bilt or maybe Craftsman model. I would prefer gas, just because I don't have to worry about plugging in.
Would 2200 psi be enough power to reach the top of the siding on the house?

Single story sure, worked great for me!
Two story or three you would have to use a ladder or scaffolds even with the higher psi washers.

You really not going to be able to do much on the peak on the 2nd story without an extension wand. I have a 2800psi Craftsman and I've tried...
