no, the last year of the 138 cars was 68,,you ST number is off the trim tag, that is not the VIN number,, that number indicates its a 69 13637 car which is a V-8 Malibu,, you will find the VIN at the lower drivers side of the windshield

Can it still be an SS Car

It can be but the VIN does not prove or disprove.
Go here for more info on 69 SS id.
Bottom line is you must have a build sheet, pop or original documentation to prove a 69 is an SS.

D'uh, my goof. That's what happens when you cut and paste. For 1969 138xx should only be for a Concours Estate Wagon. Thanks for pointing it out so I can fix it. Always good to see a sharp eye.

Piper, what you first listed is not a VIN, it is half of the top line on your trim tag. The VIN is located under the windshield above the dash. If you post the complete trim tag data in the tag team thread area people can tell you alot about what the car came with and perhaps shed more light on what you are looking for, as for the 69 ss issue, it is as mentioned before, unless you have 72 or 76 paint code on your trim tag, then it is unknown unless you have a build sheet or other documentation.
