The Rear View Mirror in my 1970 Chevelle is in great condition, but the mirror glass is not and needs replaced. My question is can I put new mirror glass in my housing? If so, who sells ust the mirror glass?
Thanks!

Chaudron Glass and Mirror of Baltimore,410-685-1568,,will resilver your car mirror, very inexpensive.Put the whole mirror assembly in a pot of boiling water for a minute, this will soften everything up.Take it out and use a butter knife and work around the edges and you will the glass out in a few seconds ,did mine this way, very easy.Only bad part is where Chaudron is located, down in the ghettos of Bmore, take a bazooka or and armed guard with you.Good luck.

Doug,
Thanks for the info. I'm glad to see I can get it done locally.
Oh, and thanks for the warning on the location! :)
