I am going to get my car out of winter storage next week and I know it will smell musty from being parked for the last 10 months. Besides opening the doors and letting in fresh air and sunshine, what's the best way to get rid of the smell?

i'd sprinkle baking soda in the carpet, let sit a bit then vacuum.

Nice idea with the baking soda - maybe the latest versions of fabric Febreze would help...
Head to ACE or your local hardware/auto parts store and pick up a few of those hanging air freshners. When I started my sons 66 Nova restoration - we picked up one of those orange scent can fresheners - opened it in the back seat on the carpet and let it sit there...

you can also put a pan of charcoal inside....don't light it. It absorbs odor very well.

I've used fresh ground coffe or regular coffe grounds put them in a new coffe filter than folded it over and staple it shut. Then put it under both front seats make two of them...Also when I put my car away for winter they'll absorb moisture aswell...
