I have a 650 double pumper that I'm going to convert to a 750 with a main body change. The proform main body is 99$ and the holley is 124.99$.So my question is the holley worth the extra moola or is it just the look?Is there a performance advantage to either one over the other?Has anyone done this swap,is there anything I should be aware of?

I bet they are made in the same building, but I could be wrong. My son bought the proform main body and billet baseplate, nice pieces.

My opinion on this subject must be obvious.........(IE-look at username):waving:

Actually, Proform is part of the name of my machine shop, and back when I started my business, the performance parts mfg. wasn't in business, or at least well known.

And on the actual subject of the thread, I don't have an opinion. I just had to chime in.:D

my engine guy and dyno guy love the proform carbs. i have a 750 proform on an approx 500HP 427 and the throttle response is amazing. proform is more of a racing carb than a street carb, but is still reliable and streetable. however, mine has no choke or no provision for one.

the body was designed by the boys at Quick Fuel for Pro Form. It works great.
