: replacement starter motor

Hi - my current starter motor has given up the ghost and I need to get a new one. The solenoid has shorted out and also the motor itself won't turn. I've taken both apart but nothing easy to fix. Teeth on the flexplate look ok, fortunately. (THM400 auto)

The current starter is a reconditioned AC Delco 1876555 323-255-H3. What would be an easily obtainable and quality replacement for this ? I've tried looking on the AC Delco site, but the links don't seem to work.

I'd like to get a mini-starter if there is a suitable one available.

Also, any idea from above how many teeth my flexplate has ?

Based in the UK, so I guess shipping a starter is going to cost me...

Cheers, appreciate the help
