I've got a chance to snag a pair of BB Aluminum heads from a friend in a deal we are working on. The Heads have the "Jegs" brand on the front of them. Suppose to be 310 rectangular ports with 119cc chambers. Does some other company make these for jegs? Anyone use these before?

I've heard that the Jegs heads are made by Canfield.

Hmmm.....Then I would assume they are pretty good heads. Are the exhaust ports in the standard locations for header fitment?

Probably raised .600 if Canfield makes them. Brodix RAcerites and Edelbrocks are about the only aluminum head with a stock exhaust port location.

Would that mean special ordering the headers to fit? Is that a lot of trouble?

Maybe, maybe not, depends how much room you have in the chassis. If you need custom headers you could mod them yourself or I think it's about $1200 for a set of custom Lemon's headers.

They would be going in my 72 Nova. I've got GM iron heads and hooker super comps now which are a really close fit(but they do fit).

Whats wrong with calling Jegs tech line and asking all your questions.

I can certainly do that. I was just looking for some "hands on" experience. If my method was wrong ,then I apologize.
