What is the width of deflector with the ends, and the distance between the bracket holes? Also, will a deflector work with a roof rack?
I'm adding a rack to my 68 wagon-
Does any one have info on the correction position of the rack? Measurements would be helpful...
What about those slats in the middle? They seem to just lay there on the roof, do they smack/move around at freeway speeds?
Thanks

i can try to get dimensions in my spare time. ha lol
but yes the deflector fits with a roof rack and yes the roof rack pieces just sit there on top and are held there with the 2 band that go from side to side.

You will notice on your roof rack that there are screws to adjust tension on the bands to hold them tight to the roof and they are accessible with the rack installed

Anybody have good side pixs of their wagon w a rack? I'd like to know where the correct placement is. I've found some pix online, but not close enough to see exactly where to drill. 1968 Chevelle Wagon. Thanks

the air deflector is 49" from tip to tip. the stainless steel center component is 36" wide between the seems of the end tips. the part numbers i have marked on the rh side tip is 04008 for plated and 03932 for painted. you could get the deflector in chrome or painted body color. i have both. the painted ones are really rare. i have one seen one and i have it. it came from a specially ordered nomad. the center part is not stainless steel it is just steel and it is painted. the end pieces and feet ate not put thru the chroming process, instead they are just painted as well. i am putting this on my tubbed 2 door 70 nomad.!!
i can take more measurements and maby pics or how the roof rack mounts when i get another chance.
