Late 1969 512 block with a LE code on the front pad ?
The guy thinks it is a 427 . I think it is a 454 out of full size car ( Impala or something ) .
Thanks

Looks like he is correct. Is it a 4 bolt main block?

No I think it is a 2 bolt. I just saw it last night and I don't think it is a 4 bolt.
Where did you find the info on the "LE" 427 335 ?
I did a little searching and found "LE" 427 335 hp. It looks like it is a 427 but out of a full size chevy not a vette. The block is a worn out .060 over and the guy bought a balaced rotating stroker assembly to make a 496 thinking it was a fresh .060 over. He really wants to use this block but it will mean boring, another set of pistons, rings and a balance. We have another 1978 959 block a fresh .060 over ready to go, but he really wants to use the 512 block.

"Chevrolet by the Numbers" shows the engine code LE = 1969 Passenger car
427-335 with TH400.
512 blocks could be a 2 bolt or 4 bolt main.
