I have just completed the rear end rebuild on my 66 396 SS "family cruiser" and now am ready to turn my attention to the front. (Richmond gears, Auburn posi, Hotchkis 1" drop coil spring and Hotchkis upper/lower arms) I plan on converting to front disc brakes while I am there but am confused about the spindles, drop? stock? or tall? Also, replace the upper A arm with a tubular one or rebuild the factory A arm?? I want to do it right, I don't plan on cutting corners but don't want to WASTE $$. What will give me the most bang for my buck?
