I have a 1970 4 door Chevelle, It is sitting low (when looking from the back) on the drivers side.
I have fitted new shocks, springs and all axel mounts thinking it was something to do with that area but this made no difference.
I am now thinking it could be the body mounts?
Does any one have any ideas?

First of all, welcome to the best Chevelle site on The Web!! A Chevelle owner in the UK! Cool!

Okay, now for the advise. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif Park it on a FLAT surface (a flat concrete slab or your garage, for instance). Measure from each of the 4 corners of the FRAME to the ground. Each measurement from one side to the other should be close. If they are, look at your body mounts. They may be like mine...flat as pancakes. If the measurements differ greatly, the frame might be tweeked. If that's the case, a good frame shop should be able to help.

Might also want to see if one of the coil springs has migrated from its perch. Saw a car that sat uneven because of this.

Also, mine sat uneven due to the holes in the A-arm bushings were worn out and oblong.

Check those too.
